Job Description The Business Analyst will self‑direct and proactively develop competency as the subject‑matter expert on a wide variety of business applications. The role covers document management, expense management, DAM, PIM, and project/ticket management tools. You will support IT and business stakeholders and maintain regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid role: on site 4 days and remote 1 day per week.
Responsibilities
Application ownership & support: primary analyst for Jira, Concur, DocuWare, and other applications; triage issues, resolve or route incidents/requests, communicate status.
Requirements & process analysis: facilitate discovery, document current/future processes, business requirements, use cases, functional specifications, acceptance criteria.
Configuration & enhancement delivery: translate requirements into configuration/enhancement requests; coordinate development, testing, deployment following change control.
User access & security: administer roles/permissions; work with IT/security to support audits, access reviews, data retention.
Testing & release management: develop test plans/scripts; support UAT, defect triage, regression testing; document release notes.
Documentation & knowledge management: maintain system documentation, SOPs, training materials, knowledge articles.
Training & enablement: user training, office hours, quick reference guides, promote adoption of standard processes.
Reporting & metrics: build and maintain dashboards/reports for performance, usage, bottlenecks.
Vendor and stakeholder management: manage vendor support cases, upgrades, maintenance windows; coordinate with Finance, Operations, and other units.
Integration & data flows: assist in defining/supporting integrations, validate data mappings, troubleshoot integration issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.
2+ yrs of SQL experience (read queries, not necessarily write).
Intermediate Microsoft Office; Visio experience a plus.
2+ yrs liaison experience with end‑user groups and technical support teams.
Demonstrated application administration.
Experience gathering requirements and documenting processes.
Proficient with BA artifacts: swim‑lane diagrams, flow charts, data entity diagrams, system entity diagrams, data model diagrams, risk assessment.
Solid knowledge of incident/ request management, change management, Agile/SDLC.
Successful completion of small to medium projects autonomously.
Strong communication skills with diverse teams.
Experience with FRD/TRD research and generation.
