Position: Nursery Practitioner - Level 2

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £32,697.60

We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This full-time role involves working 40 hours a week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm. Please note, this is a year-round position, as we operate throughout the year.

Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Meet each child’s individual needs, delivering high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child's unique learning and development.
  • Collaborate with your team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
  • Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety concerns to management.
  • Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS: Desirable
