A company is looking for a Mainframe Network Engineer to support and maintain network configurations in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities
Configure, debug, and maintain TCPIP and VTAM subsystems for Parallel Sysplex Utilize mainframe Configuration Manager to implement AT-TLS rules and IPSEC policies Provide on-call support and monitor system program products using SMP/E and TSO/ISPF
Required Qualifications
Experience with SNA & IP products such as DB2, CICS, and TSO/ISPF Knowledge of secure encrypted data transfer methods (NDM, SFTP, FTP/TLS) Familiarity with Tcpip trace analysis and system monitoring tools Ability to work weeknights and weekends for implementation tasks Experience with z/OSMF and mainframe configuration management
