As an LPN in our Residential Program, you will be providing individualized, person-centered, skills training and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. This position is great for those who want to come to work and make a difference in people’s lives every day.

We have full-time and part-time positions available on all shifts! This opening is in a program that supports (at most) *10 adults* with developmental disabilities, which allows staff and nurses to provide the 1:1 attention and care that EVERYONE deserves!

Under the direction of a registered nurse, physician, or other licensed health care provider, performs nursing care tasks and procedures consistent with individual treatment plans and scope of practice, to maintain health, prevent and cure illness and injury, and alleviate suffering using practical knowledge of health processes and facility procedures
*Responsibilities/Expectations:*
Assist registered nurses, physicians, or other licensed health care providers in the identification of individuals’ needs and participates in the development of plans to address goals
Administers medications and nursing procedures to individuals as prescribed
Obtains and records individuals’ temperatures, blood pressures, pulse rates, and other vital signs using standard instruments and procedures
Observes, monitors, and records individuals’ symptoms and conditions to obtain and provide information for diagnosis and treatment; identifies responses to medication or changes in health status; and reports such to a registered nurse, physician, or other licensed health care provider
Maintains charts and other records of individuals’ conditions and/or administered treatments
May perform housekeeping tasks, such as changing linens, and assist other staff in cleaning activities to ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for individuals
Maintain valid licenses {including driving license, as applicable], certifications or any other credentials that are required or necessary to carry out the responsibilities upon and throughout employment.
Maintain HIPAA compliance
*Qualifications:*
Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
