As a Hardware Installer, you will be responsible for completing assigned installation jobs on your scheduled days. Day-to-day tasks include: Installing door and bath hardware Hanging decorative mirrors Installing barn doors Performing warranty work for homeowners and builders Maintaining a clean, organized work area Troubleshooting and resolving installation issues as they arise Communicating professionally with customers and team members Qualifications
No prior installation experience is required — we'll train you. The following qualifications are preferred or expected: Comfort using basic tools such as a drill, level, and tape measure Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varied settings Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work Good time management — jobs are dispatched on your scheduled days and expected to be completed that day Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude A construction or handyman background is a plus, but not required Additional Information
At Hardware Essentials, we don't micromanage. You work with your hardware manager to set a schedule that fits your life, and from there it's up to you. Jobs are sent out on your scheduled days and we expect them done — outside of that, your time is your own. This structure works especially well for students or anyone balancing other commitments who still wants to earn serious income.
