Über
Qualifications
Support monitoring of availability and uptime of corporate systems (e.g. routers, switches, phones, firewalls, cloud components, workstations, laptops) — escalate issues to senior IT staff as required
Manage internal applications (e.g. AD, Office 365, Jira, Confluence, Okta) including access management
Maintain physical office infrastructure, including setup of workstations and desk moves as directed by management
Work within established security practices aligned to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (e.g. Data Loss Prevention, Event Logging, Mobile Policies, Firewall Policies) — not responsible for defining or adopting new practices
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of work instructions and internal procedures
Aid senior members of the team where needed
Responding to desktop support requests from employees face‑to‑face and remotely
Provide general support – 1st and 2nd level for IT systems
Use Nearmap standard IT tools to track work
Additional Information
Exposure to scripting languages — Bash, PowerShell
Office 365, Active Directory (incl. Group Policy and administration)
Exposure to cloud infrastructure — AWS or similar
Networking and firewall fundamentals
Strong awareness of Data Security
Strong technical documentation skills
Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
