Über
Business Intelligence Intern
to support the Commercial Development & Business Intelligence team. This role offers hands‑on experience working with large datasets, segmentation initiatives, insight generation, and visualization tools.
The internship is designed for a student or recent graduate interested in transforming data into actionable recommendations, supporting cross‑functional initiatives, and developing real‑world BI and storytelling skills.
This is a hybrid internship – ability to work in our HQ White Plains office and remotely.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis utilizing internal and external BI sources (Nielsen, Karma, NABCA, and additional datasets as needed).
Assist with Power BI workshops and dashboard development (dependent on experience/background).
Enhance BI presentation templates, visuals, and structure to support storytelling across Commercial Development & Marketing.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with BI, Marketing, and Commercial teams on the ACE initiative and other analytical projects.
Review, validate, and analyze data with accuracy and attention to detail.
Support ad hoc BI and insights requests from leadership and stakeholders.
Key Learnings
How to transition
from data to insights , supporting BI storytelling and commercial decision‑making.
Deep understanding of how data analysis influences business strategy within a commercial organization.
Experience working on
cross‑functional projects , including exposure to Executive, BI, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
Practical application of analytical tools, reporting platforms, and visualization software.
Strengthening Excel, PowerPoint, and (if applicable) Power BI skills in a real‑world environment.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a university program or recent graduate in a business‑related, data analytics, or quantitative field.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization platforms (Power BI a plus).
Understanding of data validation, harmonization, and reporting principles a plus.
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Highly competitive hourly rate – $25.00 an hour (32 hours per week). Program is 8-10 weeks. Preferred start date 6/1/26.
