Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Location : Dallas TX Duration : Long Term Contract Job Details : Typical requirements include: Technical knowledge of Operating Systems, SharePoint, Active Directory and infrastructure, networking basics, software, and applications. Proficiency with ITSM tools and ticketing systems for tracking and managing user support requests. Time management skills to multitask and adhere to SLAs. Problem-solving skills around analysing issues, critical thinking, creativity, and finding solutions quickly. Communication skills to explain technical concepts in ways users can readily understand and for interacting with team members. A customer service mindset, showing empathy, patience, and professionalism to deliver a positive experience for each user. Acting as a first point of contact for users. Creation and Deletion of users and service accounts through PowerShell scripts. Need to provide access to users for various tools and shared drives from Security Groups. Should be familiar about Active directory to create, modify or delete the security groups. Creation and deletion of Distribution Lists. Generation\renewal of SSL certificates. Troubleshooting end user issues related to outlook, excel-add-ins etc. Troubleshooting Windows desktop or VDI slowness and access issues. Identifying and diagnosing issues and problems. Categorizing and recording queries Providing solutions to issues.
