Join our dynamic team as a Lead Diesel Technician and take charge of maintaining, repairing, and optimizing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and vehicles. **
* Diagnose complex issues using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes swiftly.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as tractors, trailers, and farm machinery.
* Conduct inspections and repairs on transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, shocks & struts, HVAC systems, and wheel alignments.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and fabrication techniques to execute repairs efficiently.
* Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical systems and perform precise assembly or disassembly tasks.
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards including proper handling of heavy lifting tasks and tire service procedures while maintaining a clean work environment.
**
* Proven dealership or heavy equipment repair experience with a strong background in diesel engine repair and automotive diagnostics.
* Extensive knowledge of heavy equipment operation including tractors-trailers, and industrial machinery.
* Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; experience with power tools is essential.
* Familiarity with schematics for electrical systems; ability to troubleshoot hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, brakes, and transmissions.
* Mechanical aptitude combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during vehicle maintenance or equipment repair tasks.
* Valid certifications or training in vehicle maintenance disciplines such as air brake systems or alignment are preferred but not mandatory. Pay: $28.66 - $38.00 per hour
