About this team and role: As a senior app developer you will help shape and ship Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet for the 100+ million users of our Google Play products.
What you’ll do:
Participate in designing, debugging, building, and shipping Android solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
Work within a diverse, geographically distributed team responsible for the Firefox mobile applications and our ecosystem of open‑source Android components.
Help maintain quality standards through code reviews, bug fixing, testing, and working with Mozilla’s open‑source community to improve Android solutions.
What you’ll bring:
Experience building Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
Eagerness to investigate and resolve bugs and issues.
Experience contributing to product development.
Ability to work independently on simpler tasks and collaboratively within a team, delivering well‑designed, reusable, and high‑quality code.
Enthusiasm to learn from experienced engineers.
