About Cambium Data Cambium Data is a growing Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) based in Omaha, Nebraska. We help small and mid‑sized businesses eliminate IT headaches, strengthen cybersecurity, and operate more efficiently, without needing a full internal IT team.
We’re a tight‑knit team that takes pride in doing things the right way and delivering real value to our clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for the right person to help us expand our reach and bring in new business.
About the Role (Please Read) This is not an account management role.
This is a new business development (outbound sales) role focused on generating opportunities with companies that are a good fit for Cambium Data.
If you’re looking to manage existing relationships or wait for inbound leads, this is not the role for you.
If you’re competitive, motivated, and willing to put in the work to create opportunities, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
Make 50–100 outbound calls per day to local businesses
Send 20–40 targeted emails per day
Prospect and research companies (typically 20–100 employees)
Connect with decision‑makers (owners, operations, finance leaders)
Book 5–10 qualified meetings per week
Track activity and progress in CRM
Continuously improve messaging and outreach strategies

Cold calling or prospecting experience
Familiarity with IT services or MSPs
This Role Is NOT for You If
You dislike cold calling
You prefer managing existing relationships over creating new ones
You need constant supervision to stay productive
You’re looking for a low‑activity or purely reactive role
Commission: Paid per qualified meeting held + additional bonuses on closed business
On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000 – $75,000+
This role is designed as a launchpad
Path to Account Executive (closing role)
Opportunity to help shape and grow the company’s sales process
Work directly with leadership and gain real sales experience
CRM (HubSpot, HaloPSA, or similar)
Email and outreach tools
