PFH Technology is partnering directly with a Dublin based Client who seeks a Cloud Engineer (8+ years’ experience) to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure. The role focuses on delivering governed cloud foundations and supporting a Digital Evidence Management System (DEMS) platform handling high-volume, secure evidence ingestion (e.g., video, CCTV, device uploads) with strong emphasis on security, auditability, and resilience.

• Design and implement secure multi-account/multi-subscription cloud foundations (AWS & Azure).
  
• Establish identity and access management (IAM, Entra ID, RBAC, least privilege, privileged access).
  
• Implement security baselines (threat detection, encryption, key management, security monitoring).
  
• Build and maintain logging, monitoring, and audit frameworks (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
  
• Implement cloud networking (VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, private endpoints, firewall integration).
  
• Develop evidence ingestion and storage solutions (S3, Azure Blob, immutability, lifecycle policies).
  
• Ensure data protection, retention, and chain-of-custody compliance for digital evidence.
  
• Implement scalable and resilient architectures (auto-scaling, load balancing, DR, backup/recovery).
  
• Deliver infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep/ARM) and support CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Produce runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation.
  

• 
  
• 6–7+ years of hands‑on cloud engineering experience (AWS & Azure).
  
• Strong expertise in Azure (Entra ID, RBAC, VNet, VMs, Blob Storage, Monitor, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).
  
• Solid understanding of networking (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, DNS, routing, segmentation).
  
• Experience implementing security, compliance, and governance frameworks (GDPR, audit logging, least privilege).
  
• Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, backup, and disaster recovery (RPO/RTO).
  
• Familiarity with container platforms (EKS/ECS/Fargate/AKS) (desirable).
  
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills. xcfaprz
