• Serve a diverse patient population with a caseload of 16-20 patients per day.
• Engage in a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring a varied and fulfilling practice experience.
• Enjoy the predictability of a structured schedule: four days a week with no night calls currently required.
• Rotating weekend call schedule, with a maximum of 1 in every 4 weekends.

Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

Join a team that operates in a hospital outpatient department while also providing inpatient care. The practice encompasses a broad spectrum of Hematology/Oncology services, catering to both new patients and follow-up visits. While bone marrow aspirations are optional, the role does not require specific procedures, allowing you to focus on delivering comprehensive patient care. The practice is supported by the Epic EMR system, ensuring seamless integration into the workflow.

Schedule and Assignment Details

The assignment calls for a full-time commitment, operating Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at one location and Friday at another, offering a refreshing change of scenery and professional diversity. With Tuesdays off, this schedule provides a balanced work-life dynamic. The day runs from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for structured patient care and personal time.

This role is embedded in a collaborative team environment with standard support staff, ensuring you have the resources needed to focus on patient care. The position is designed to bridge the gap to a permanent hire, providing continuity and stability while maintaining a patient-focused approach. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• Current WA State License or eligibility through IMLC LOQ.
• Completion of residency or fellowship in the relevant specialty.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• A clean malpractice background is preferred.
