API Integration Engineer Permanent

• 
  
• Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs and integration services
  
• Work across cloud and on-prem environments in a regulated banking setting
  
• Implement modern API security (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT)
  
• Contribute to event-driven and microservices architectures
  
• Drive best practices across CI/CD, observability, and engineering excellence
  

• 
  
• 5+ years’ experience in API/integration engineering (ideally in financial services)
  
• Strong skills in Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python
  
• Experience with API gateways, messaging platforms (Kafka, MQ, etc.), and containers (Docker/Kubernetes)
  
• Solid understanding of security, scalability, and integration patterns
  
• Must be based in Ireland
