Radiology - Interventional Physician

Interventional Radiologist Locum Tenens
Location: Overland Park, KS
Start Date: October 1, 2025 (August start preferred)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (flexible, ongoing need)
Credentialing Timeframe:

• Full privileges: 90 days

• Temporary privileges available in as little as 1 week (more lead time preferred)

• Coverage Type: On-site + Remote

• Shifts: Days, nights, evenings, and weekends

• Call: Evening and weekend call required

• Business Hours: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM at one location

• Call covers: Both sites

• Shift Example: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour flexible night shifts)

• Board Certification: Not required if within 2 years of residency

• Licensure: Willing to license

• Experience: IR-trained; must be comfortable working in hospital-based IR suites

• Patient Population: Adults only

• Practice Setting: Hospital + Outpatient Clinic

• Support Staff: 24% physician coverage, 5% APPs; includes radiology managers, techs, and nurses

• Trauma Level: Not a high-volume trauma setting

• EMR: Epic

• PACS: Change/McKesson

• Reason for Need: Gaps in coverage and expanding sites
