Opportunity:
Seeking a full-time Board-Certified Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist to join a high-volume community hospital and ambulatory pathology service. This role offers a blend of clinical practice, academic affiliation, and long-term career stability within a premier academic health system.
Details:
- Sign out routine surgical pathology and cytology cases
- Sign out hematopathology cases as part of the assigned workload
- Oversee and interpret a wide range of diagnostic laboratory tests
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to guide diagnosis and treatment decisions
- Provide expert diagnostic insight to support optimal patient care
- Participate in pathology services for both inpatient and ambulatory settings
- Base Salary: $271,000 $281,000
- Total Compensation: $301,000 $318,000 including bonuses
- Revenue Sharing: Up to $30,000 annually based on productivity and compliance metrics
- Board Certified in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology
- 2 3 years of hospital-based pathology experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
- 403(b)/457 retirement plans with 10% employer contribution (no employee match required)
- Annual CME reimbursement $3,000 $3,500 plus one week of paid CME time
- 24 vacation days , 12 sick days , and 12 paid holidays
