Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

As an Orthopedic Surgeon, you will join a well-established practice located on a bustling hospital campus. Collaborate with two seasoned orthopedic surgeons and a team of primary care providers to deliver high-quality orthopedic care. Your role will include conducting patient consultations, surgeries, follow-ups, and in-office procedures, with the flexibility to shape your own practice. Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care, utilizing advanced operating rooms and working closely with a tenured CRNA team and on-campus specialty support.

Schedule and Assignment Details

Work typical daytime clinic hours from Monday to Friday, with a flexible call rotation that includes weekend coverage. This full-time direct hire position is available for an immediate start, offering stability and continuity in a supportive environment. Support and Work Environment

The practice operates within a state-of-the-art facility including advanced ORs, emergency services, a therapy and wellness center, and a wound care center. Use the Epic EMR system for documentation and collaborate with hospitalist teams for inpatient care coverage. Engage in teaching or collaborating with advanced practice providers and clinic staff, fostering a collegial and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Possession of a DEA and CSR/CDS, or willingness to obtain prior to start.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery, with 2-5 years highly preferred.
  • Active or obtainable Missouri medical license.
  • Clean malpractice and license history are highly preferred.
  • Willingness to practice in a high HPSA score location, eligible for J1 visa sponsorship.
