Join the RiskPS BizOps team as a Site Reliability Engineer to solve problems, implement automation, and leverage best practices. You will help shape the future of Site Reliability Engineering at Mastercard, working across development, operations, and product teams to push boundaries of automation and improve system reliability.

Responsibilities
- Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
- Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns.
- Support services before they go live, including system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Maintain services once live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
- Scale systems sustainably through automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
- Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post‑mortems.
- Take a holistic approach to problem solving, connecting the dots during a production event across the technology stack to optimize mean time to recover.
- Work with a global team across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior resources.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience with UNIX, scripting, Oracle, and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong relationship and customer service skills.
- Experience in C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby (preferred).
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, BlazeMeter.
- Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large‑scale distributed systems.
Experience In a Financial Environment Preferred
- Organize, multi‑task, and prioritize work based on current business needs.
- Make decisions with a sense of urgency while dealing with difficult stakeholders.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Corporate Security Responsibility
- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.

- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
