This role requires a commercially focused, technically competent sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop strategic growth initiatives within the plumbing and heating industry.
Key Responsibilities Drive sales of products and services within the assigned region, ensuring targets and KPIs are achieved.
Manage and develop relationships with individual business owners, national merchants, installers, and plumbing contractors.
Act as the first point of contact for customers regarding sales queries.
Provide product advice and light technical guidance; confidence in engaging with plumbing contractors is essential.
Manage a defined sales territory with a strong focus on customer acquisition and retention.
Develop, build, and maintain excellent relationships with current and prospective clients.
Identify and maximise opportunities through proactive networking and market engagement.
Implement and communicate a local strategic business plan aligned with company objectives.
Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and effectively communicate with business owners and decision-makers.
Collaborate internally to support the development of new technologies and innovative route-to-market strategies.
Build and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships with internal support departments.
Work closely with the Sales Manager on forecasting, pipeline management, and future growth planning.
Support and assist in the implementation of company marketing initiatives as required.
Candidate Profile The successful candidate will demonstrate: Minimum 4+ years' Sales Management experience.
Light technical knowledge required but a dedicated engineer will support Proven track record of delivering results and exceeding sales targets.
Experience in developing and executing a Strategic Sales Plan.
Highly motivated, energetic, and self-driven.
Dynamic, results-oriented, and commercially astute.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to engage confidently with business owners and senior decision-makers. xcfaprz
Relevant third-level qualification desirable, or equivalent industry experience.
