My client is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, build, and support scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native environments on AWS.
The Job:
Hands‑on in AWS infrastructure and networks to help build and support cloud-native environments.
Work as a key contributor within the cloud platform team, focusing on automation, infrastructure as code, and secure delivery pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver well‑architected solutions aligned with industry best practices.
Have you:
7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with at least 5+ years of hands‑on experience working with AWS.
Proven track record designing and managing production‑grade cloud infrastructure in regulated environments.
Strong expertise in cloud security, networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and governance on AWS.
Advanced knowledge of networking concepts including firewalls, DNS, load balancing, proxies, and related components.
Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Shell scripting).
Hands‑on experience building and managing continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and GitOps workflows.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a strong team‑oriented mindset.
Experience with multi‑account cloud architectures, landing zones, or similar organizational setups.
Solid understanding of zero‑trust architecture principles, data encryption, and key management systems (KMS).
Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform, for provisioning and automating cloud infrastructure.
Hands‑on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or EKS.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, and AWS‑native services. xcfaprz
Demonstrated ability to optimize cost and performance in large‑scale cloud environments.
