We offer an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing service providers, committed to both employee growth and customer success.
The Business Development Manager will drive new customer acquisition across mid-market organizations in Europe, promoting our contract manufacturing (CDMO) capabilities. This role requires a strong track record in consultative selling within complex environments, along with expertise in prospecting, networking, and building relationships at the C-suite level.
The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with the ability to navigate client organizations and contribute to our long-term growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities across European markets.
Develop and execute a structured pipeline of target accounts across various sectors such as pharma, biotech, medtech, diagnostics, genomics, electrical equipment.
Lead end-to-end sales processes from initial outreach through to contract signature, working closely with internal technical and operations teams.
Prepare compelling proposals, capability presentations and commercial offers tailored to client needs.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary commercial point of contact for prospective clients throughout the business development cycle and provide client feedback for continuous improvement.
Develop deep knowledge of client needs, product pipelines and manufacturing requirements.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences and client site visits.
Build long‑term strategic relationships with decision‑makers including procurement, R&D, operations and C‑suite stakeholders.
Monitor European life sciences and electrical equipment market trends (among other sectors), competitor activity and emerging manufacturing needs.
Provide regular reporting, insights on regional go‑to‑market strategy and forecast on pipeline performance, market opportunities and competitive landscape to senior leadership.
Collaboration & Internal Engagement
Collaborate with technical, operations, quality and regulatory teams to ensure proposals are accurate, feasible and compliant.
Work with leadership team to develop targeted campaigns, case studies and collateral for the European market.
Qualifications & Experience

Structure:
Organized and methodical; excellent prioritization and negotiation skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related field
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience within a CDMO, CRO or life sciences manufacturing environment
Track Record:
Proven track record of winning new accounts and growing revenue within the European life sciences market
Languages:
Fluency in English; additional European language(s) are a strong advantage
Travel:
Willingness to travel across Europe regularly
Experience with regulatory frameworks relevant to life sciences manufacturing (GMP, ISO 13485, FDA, EMA)
Established network of contacts across European pharma, biotech, medtech, diagnostics and electrical equipment organizations
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and pipeline management
