Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

As an Orthopedic Surgeon, you will be responsible for a comprehensive range of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues. The position involves 24/7 ER coverage with robust support from dedicated PAs, ensuring you can focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Additionally, you will engage in outpatient clinic work, offering continuity of care and an opportunity to follow up with patients post-surgery. Utilize EPIC EMR for efficient patient management and seamless integration across the healthcare system.

Schedule and Assignment Details

This locum assignment covers two weeks per month, with specific schedules adjusted based on internal team needs. Coverage dates include December 25 to January 1, July 1 to July 15, and August 8 to August 15. While flexibility is a key feature of this role, candidates must be available during the specified periods and hold a valid Washington State license by November. The expected assignment duration ranges from six to nine months, providing stability and continuity.

Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience in a Level II Trauma environment is required.
• Washington State license preferred, or eligibility for IMLC with LOQ.
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
