Nephrology Physician

The University of Missouri-Columbia, Department of Medicine is seeking a Division Director of Nephrology. The incoming Division Director will lead the Division's contributions to the academic mission of research, education, and clinical service. The Division has a robust clinical enterprise with excellent patient care, internationally recognized research in peritoneal dialysis, and a highly reputable fellowship program. The clinical enterprise consists of full-spectrum inpatient and outpatient kidney disease services, including transplant. NIH-funded research in the Division centers on kidney inflammation and injury, with novel development of a monitoring device in CKD. Division investigators benefit from and contribute to a vibrant research environment and collaborations across the University of Missouri. The Nephrology fellowship hosts six fellows, and the Division has led the Annual Dialysis Conference - the largest dialysis conference in the world - since 1980.
