Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Area, 100% remote until DFW office opens at which point it will convert to hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 USD

Position Summary The IT Security Analyst serves as the front line of our security operations, working in a follow-the-sun model with our UK-based global IT team. This role is responsible for security monitoring, incident response coordination, compliance reporting, and supporting the day-to-day security posture of our North American operations. You will be the first responder for security events during North American business hours and serve as the critical escalation point for incidents occurring globally.
Key Responsibilities Security Operations & Incident Response
Monitor security alerts and events across cloud, identity, and endpoint platforms
Serve as first responder for security incidents during North American hours; coordinate escalation to UK team or leadership as needed for after-hours or global incidents
Investigate and document security incidents, phishing attempts, and suspicious activity
Participate in incident response procedures and contribute to post-incident reviews
Global Collaboration (Follow-the-Sun Model)
Work closely with UK IT security counterparts to ensure continuous coverage and seamless handoffs
Provide after-hours escalation point for critical security events occurring in other regions
Maintain clear documentation and communication logs for cross-regional continuity
Compliance & Reporting
Generate and distribute regular security reports on authentication compliance, device health, and threat metrics
Monitor and report on encryption compliance, credential management, and endpoint security status
Support audit preparation and evidence gathering for security and compliance reviews
Security Operations Support
Assist with user access reviews and identity lifecycle management
Support multi-factor authentication enrollment and troubleshooting for end users
Contribute to security awareness initiatives and phishing simulation campaigns
Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
Qualifications Required
2-4 years of experience in IT security, security operations, or related technical role
Working knowledge of cloud security platforms, identity management, and endpoint protection
Understanding of common attack vectors, phishing techniques, and incident response fundamentals
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote/global teams
Preferred
Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or similar
Experience with security monitoring and log analysis
Familiarity with endpoint management and device compliance policies
Experience in multi-site or distributed organization environments
