Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Oracle Database Administrator (12c)
to support enterprise Oracle PeopleSoft database environments. The role involves installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and ensuring high availability, security, and reliability of Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain
Oracle PeopleSoft databases (Oracle 12c) Perform database
upgrades, patching, and migrations Monitor database performance and implement
performance tuning
strategies Manage
backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
processes Ensure database
availability, security, and reliability Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide ongoing production support Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with
Oracle Database 12c Administration Proven experience supporting
PeopleSoft environments Expertise in: Performance tuning Backup and recovery Disaster recovery planning Experience with
database upgrades and patch management Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in an onsite, enterprise production environment Preferred Skills
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise Oracle environments Knowledge of Oracle security best practices Experience working in regulated or financial services environments (nice to have)
