As Climate Change throws new challenges and opportunities, the Bank has set out to invest in developing a Sustainability Technology Platform, sustainability data products and various sustainability applications to aid its goals.
As part of this initiative, we are building an exciting global team of technologists who are passionate about climate change and want to contribute to the greater good leveraging their technology skillset in Cloud / Hybrid Architecture.
As part of this role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, facilitating continuous integration and delivery, and ensuring system reliability.

What You'll Do
Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring cost efficiency
Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Deployment Manager to automate and manage infrastructure deployments
Establish and enforce security protocols, Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, and compliance measures to protect data and meet organizational requirements
Manage cloud networking components such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, firewalls, Virtual Private Networks and interconnects for secure connectivity
Create and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions to enable automated and efficient application deployments
Optimize cloud expenditures by leveraging cost‑saving strategies like committed use discounts, autoscaling and resource rightsizing
Skills You'll Need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Cloud‑native application architecture and deployment
Proficiency with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible for managing infrastructure and applications
Strong experience with IaC tools, including Terraform and GCP‑native Deployment Manager
Expertise in security practices, IAM policies, and compliance requirements for cloud environments
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Google Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect or Professional DevOps Engineer are highly valued
Experience in optimizing cloud environments to enhance performance, cost and scalability
Ability to stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and best practices within GCP
A proactive and collaborative mindset, thriving in fast‑paced environments and working well within cross‑functional teams
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across various technical and non‑technical teams
Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $120,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
