Role Overview The Manager, Software Engineering – Enterprise Platforms leads a team responsible for building and scaling shared platform capabilities across Genesys, including the Infrastructure, AI, and Enterprise Data platforms. This role focuses on delivering reusable, production‑ready platform services that enable teams to build, deploy, and scale AI‑powered and data‑driven applications efficiently.
You will drive product vision, engineering execution, platform standardization, and operational excellence while partnering with cross‑functional teams to reduce bespoke infrastructure and accelerate delivery through governed, self‑service platform capabilities.
What You’ll Do Platform Engineering & Delivery
Lead the design and delivery of reusable platform services and components that enable application teams to build and scale AI, data, and cloud infrastructure powered solutions
Establish and enforce engineering standards, reference architectures, and paved paths to reduce one‑off infrastructure and improve production readiness
Oversee platform reliability, scalability, and performance by implementing observability, testing, and automation practices
AI & Data Platform Enablement
Enable teams to consume shared AI and data platform capabilities by integrating governance, security, and access patterns into platform services
Partner with teams to deliver AI‑driven solutions by integrating AI capabilities, enabling knowledge retrieval, and building APIs and data pipelines that support scalable, standards‑aligned platform capabilities
Accelerate the transition from proof‑of‑concepts to production‑ready services by standardizing deployment patterns and infrastructure tooling
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Execution
Lead and develop a team of engineers, setting clear priorities, delivery expectations, and career growth opportunities
Collaborate with product, data, security, and infrastructure teams to align platform capabilities with business and technical needs
Drive adoption of shared platform services by engaging with domain teams, gathering feedback, and continuously improving developer experience
What You Bring Required Qualifications
Experience leading software engineering teams delivering platform or infrastructure services in a cloud environment
Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer‑sponsored visa support now or in the future.
Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, and cloud‑native architectures (e.g., AWS or similar)
Experience building or supporting AI/ML or data platform capabilities in production environments
Proven ability to establish engineering standards, improve developer productivity, and scale platform adoption
Experience driving reliability practices such as observability, testing automation, and incident management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI platform tooling, LLM integrations, or retrieval‑based systems
Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar ecosystems
Experience in SaaS environments supporting internal developer platforms or platform engineering initiatives

Compensation This role has a market‑competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance‑based bonus opportunities.
$147,100.00 - $258,700.00
