Civil Engineering Lead

To lead and deliver large-scale civil and infrastructure engineering projects, ensuring completion safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves leading multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Plan, manage, and deliver civil and infrastructure projects from design through to completion.
  
• Define project scope, budgets, schedules, and technical specifications, ensuring delivery in line with agreed plans.
  
• Lead and manage internal engineering teams as well as external contractors and service providers.
  
• Ensure all works comply with health, safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
  
• Identify, assess, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across operations, maintenance, procurement, and quality functions to ensure seamless delivery.
  
• Monitor and report on project performance (cost, schedule, quality) to senior management.
  
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, optimising processes, and applying engineering best practices.
  
• Support sustainability objectives and environmentally responsible project delivery.

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• Proven experience managing large-scale civil or infrastructure projects from concept to handover.
  
• Strong background in contract management and supplier/contractor coordination.
  
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  
• Experience managing significant project budgets and capital investments.Solid understanding of relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
