Nocturnist to join UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, NC

UNC Health Johnston is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with Rex/UNC, these positions involve delivering high-quality, team-based benefits including quality bonus, CME, retirement plan, and malpractice coverage. Smithfield is located just thirty minutes from Raleigh, the vibrant state capital. We have great weather, a welcoming community, an energized downtown, and a low cost of living. Schedule: 7 nights on and 7 nights off (7 pm-7 am)

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• Internal Medicine Residency preferred
• BC/BE
• New trainee welcomed

Education Requirements:

• Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

• BLS , Board Certified in Specialty , DEA , MD License in healthcare specialty

• None required.

• Language Skills: Ability to communicate proficiently in English. Reasoning Ability: High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
