We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive testing strategies. Your energetic approach will help drive continuous improvement, optimize testing processes, and uphold the highest standards of software quality. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify issues early and facilitate seamless releases across diverse platforms including web and mobile applications.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
* Perform various testing types such as system testing, regression testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and mobile testing for Android and iOS platforms.
* Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript to improve efficiency.
* Conduct API testing for RESTful services using tools like Postman or SoapUI; validate data integrity with SQL and MySQL queries.
* Analyze test results to identify root causes of issues; collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot software bugs and performance bottlenecks.
* Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, defect logs, and release notes in tools like Jira or HP ALM.
* Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to streamline release cycles.
* Participate in requirements gathering sessions; translate business needs into effective test strategies aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong understanding of QA/QC processes across different development environments.
* Hands-on expertise with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
* Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks for Android and iOS applications; familiarity with Appium is a plus.
* Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML data formats; experience with API testing tools is essential.
* Proficiency in database management systems including MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle, or MongoDB for data validation purposes.
* Experience working within SDLC frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall; familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
* Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis; ability to troubleshoot complex software issues effectively.
* Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN; experience with build tools such as Maven or Ant is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills to clearly document defects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
