SAP Business Intelligence Technical Lead

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing, international team in designing and managing advanced business intelligence systems. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and enhancing SAP-based BI solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization. The position combines technical expertise with leadership, overseeing projects from strategy and architecture to implementation and system maintenance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and integration of data solutions. This role emphasizes innovation, leveraging SAP BW on HANA, Datasphere, Power BI, AI, and automation technologies to deliver impactful business insights. You will also guide team development, provide feedback, and ensure that systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with strategic objectives.

• Lead and mentor an international team of 4–5 BI professionals, overseeing development, maintenance, and enhancement projects
  
• Plan and prioritize annual business application system initiatives in alignment with organizational goals
  
• Assess project viability, provide regular updates and reports, and recommend strategies to satisfy business requirements
  
• Ensure high system availability, optimal performance, and reliability across SAP and BI platforms
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and customers to identify requirements, evaluate solutions, and implement best practices
  
• Conduct periodic performance reviews, succession planning, and team communication sessions
  

• 
  
• 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP BI, business intelligence, or related technical fields
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  
• Expertise in SAP BW on HANA architecture, SAP ABAP, Datasphere, SQL, AI & Automation, Business Objects, and Power BI
  
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, distributed systems, and data integration tools
  
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage projects, and collaborate across geographies xcfaprz
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  
• Experience with AI-driven analytics and automation tools is a plus
