Job Description

Join the Farmers Insurance Protégé Program as an Insurance Agent in Training, where you will gain mentorship and hands-on experience to develop into a successful Farmers Agency Owner. This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to build your book of business while receiving comprehensive training and support across life and health insurance, property and casualty, and commercial insurance products. Designed for driven individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit, the program paves a clear path to agency ownership within 12–24 months.

Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of an established Farmers Agent to learn core business operations
• Support sales efforts and assist in the development of new business opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service to build strong client relationships
• Assist with marketing initiatives and lead generation
• Help clients understand and select insurance products including life, health, property, casualty, and commercial coverage
• Participate in licensing preparation and compliance activities

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to pass background check and obtain necessary insurance licenses
• College degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in insurance sales
• High school diploma or GED with relevant experience
