About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Test Centre team and act as the technical lead on an exciting R&T project focused on exploring auto‑ignition temperatures for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
You will join at the conceptual architecture definition stage and lead the project through detailed design, build, and commissioning - delivering a complete end‑to‑end test rig development project.
This role sits within a multi‑disciplinary engineering environment, working alongside Test Means Architecture & Integration teams to deliver a safe, high‑quality technical solution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team through detailed design activities and successfully pass the Critical Design Review (CDR). Develop and implement the full build plan for a small‑scale test rig.
