Company Description

No-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

List of services provided at the clinic: the clinic provides primary and acute care for hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits, and school physicals. The center physician will collaborate with Mid-Levels.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Locums Physician with The Locums Company, LLC. The Locums Physician will be responsible for providing coverage for primary care physicians and specialists during vacation, leave, other staffing shortages, or on-going yearly long-term contracts. The Locums Physician will work on-site and provide medical care to student patients in accordance with their medical specialty and expertise. We offer excellent compensation, and professional liability insurance.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted state medical license.

  • Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to work on a contract basis with flexible schedules

  • Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus

  • Valid Federal DEA license
