Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Looking for experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine Practice.   

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients and formulate treatment plan according to the assessment.
• Share “On Call” rotation: 
• Provides appropriate documentation of patient encounters, completes within a timely manner.
• Demonstrates accuracy in prescribing, preparation, administration and documentation of medications
• Works in cooperation with physicians, co-workers and supervisory staff.
• Consults with supervising physician and/or advises appropriate personnel of situations requiring follow-up attention.
• Functions within limits of office policies, procedures and standards.
• Assures responsibility and accountability for time management encompassing the needs of the clinic and patient
•  Ensures compliance with quality improvement policies, procedures and studies.
•  Exhibits expertise and skill in understanding, meeting and satisfying the specific needs and behavior of the patient in all age groups.
•  Communicates effectively based on the age of the patients.
•  Demonstrates attitude of cooperation and professionalism.  Promotes positive customer relations and maintains a professional                appearance.
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops where applicable
•  Attends continuing education courses related to area of specialization to remain current in the field where applicable
• Complies with Attendance Policy
• Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural and social diversity
