Nurse Practitioner/ Physicians Assistant

Job Description

777 Urgent Care is a thriving urgent care practice in Flower Mound, Tx and we're looking to hire Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) to join our team full time. You will provide patient focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Services provided to the public on an urgent care basis. The ideal applicant will be able to excel working in an urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

• General evaluation and management
• Interpretation of point of care testing (Covid-19 testing, influenza, strep, mono, general chemistry, etc)
• Minor surgery (incision and drainage, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children 5 and older

Schedule:

• Three 12 hour shifts per week
• Must be able to work alternating weekends
• Extra shifts may be available at additional compensation

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year in family practice setting, urgent care setting, or ER setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to provide the community with quality urgent care
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• eClinicalworks experience a plus
