Nurse Practitioner Part Time

Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Communicate with collaborating physician for patient care
• Approximately 2 days weekly, most likely Monday and Tuesday (9am-5pm) Open to discussing more hours if employee wants.
• Here we value time with patients and patient care over volume
• Anticipate about 20 patients daily , may temporarily vary in the fall

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields is preferred but not required
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Must have Texas State license
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill

Pay $60-$70 / hour, Rate based on experience
