Position Overview We are seeking a Software Developer – Python & DevOps to join our consulting team. This role focuses on backend development, systems integration, data pipeline engineering, and modern software delivery practices, with opportunities to contribute across the full software development lifecycle.
You will work closely with clients, users, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, contribute to the design of solutions, and deliver scalable, reliable applications. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to engage directly with stakeholders, and a collaborative, problem‑solving mindset. The ideal candidate is an inquisitive, proactive learner who thrives on solving problems, enjoys working across multiple priorities, and is comfortable balancing technical work with client interaction.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, frontend frameworks, unit testing, and dependency management
Support the development of system integrations and inter-system communication across platforms
Collaborate directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment processes
Utilize Git and platforms such as GitHub (or similar) for version control, code reviews, and collaboration
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Troubleshoot issues, support enhancements, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Manage multiple tasks and priorities across projects in a consulting environment
Required Skills & Experience The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in some or all of the following technologies and practices:
Python (strongly preferred)
DevOps tooling and practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation)
Scrum and Agile methodologies
Systems integration, including APIs, data pipelines, and inter-system communication
Version control using Git and platforms such as GitHub (or similar)
Additionally Required
3–5 years of professional software development experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Proven experience engaging directly with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Collaborative team player who works effectively across cross‑functional teams
Nice to Have
Experience with Dash, Flask, React or other modern frontend frameworks
Understanding of backend languages such as Java
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
