As a Senior Security Architect in Humana reporting to the Director of Security Architecture, you will play a key role in shaping the security blueprint for the organization by aligning security architecture and infrastructure with enterprise business and technology priorities. Responsibilities
Design high‑level security program infrastructures to protect Humana’s tools, data, systems, and networks. Drive alignment between EIP security strategy, architecture, and infrastructure and Humana’s overall business and technology priorities. Plan, design, and propose architectural blueprints or security enhancements for Humana’s information‑security and technology infrastructures. Review and reconcile Humana business priorities with EIP security requirements. Identify current and emerging security threats and design security architecture elements to mitigate them. Identify gaps within existing EIP reference architecture and design updates to mitigate emerging threats. Conduct vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments of relevant enterprise/EIP infrastructure. Develop and manage designs for hardware (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, servers) and software integration with Humana systems. Ensure stakeholder security requirements are addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture. Work closely with a team of cybersecurity professionals to design security architectures and evaluate the security of product designs. Develop new security testing approaches to target various products and provide recommendations on attack mitigation. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field. 7 or more years of technical cybersecurity architecture experience. 2 or more years of project leadership experience. Experience in technical cybersecurity architecture and integrating cybersecurity technologies with existing technologies. Experience implementing cybersecurity technologies with enterprise‑wide impact. Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuous improvement of consumer experiences. Must possess US Secret‑level clearance. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a technical field. CISSP or CEH certification. Experience in Product Security. Architecture certification in one of the leading cloud platforms. Additional Information: Remote Work Requirements
Must have the ability to provide a high‑speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25 Mbps download × 10 Mbps upload is required. Satellite and wireless Internet service is not allowed for this role. A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be required. Hours and Compensation
Scheduled weekly hours: 40 Pay range: $117,600 – $161,700 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance. Benefits
