Basic Qualifications
Related Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 3+ years of equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrable and relevant cybersecurity engineering or systems administration experience.
Good working knowledge of Linux or Windows based systems.
Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Certification or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+ or CISSP).
Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance prior to starting this position; obtaining a Security Clearance requires U.S. citizenship.
Must hold a valid U.S. passport.
Ability to travel up to 10% to customer sites throughout the U.S.
Job Description At Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission System's Cyber Resiliency organization, we are dedicated to engineering and deploying cutting‑edge cyber defense solutions across our corporation. Our focus on cybersecurity is paramount to ensuring mission success for our customers, even in the face of evolving cyber threats.
The Work As a member of our team, you will engage in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing the cyber resiliency of the U.S. Space Force Space Fence System Radar. This includes tasks such as:
Hardening operating systems, applications, and network devices
Conducting vulnerability scans
Continuous monitoring of the system’s security posture
Assisting with Government Certification Test and Evaluation (CT&E) and Vulnerability Testing
Implementing security updates and patches
Applying configuration changes to ESS, ACAS, and SolarWinds security tools
Supporting the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the system, including RMF package work
Assisting system administrators, engineers, and operators with event troubleshooting
Collaborating with system stakeholders to maintain cybersecurity posture
Interfacing with and supporting the ISSO and other government security stakeholders
Supporting the Security Impact Analysis (SIA) process through generation of Contract Deliverables (CDRL) and RMF supporting artifacts on both unclassified and classified networks
Travel Requirements
Travel to and work in person at Moorestown, NJ – SFS Systems Integration Laboratory
Travel to Space Operations Center, Eglin AFB Site C6, FL
Potential travel with U.S. passport to Sensor Site 1, Kwajalein Atoll, Republic of the Marshall Islands
Desired Skills
Tenable Security Center and Tenable Nessus administration experience
ACAS scanning and administration experience
ESS (Trellix and Endpoint Security Solution) administration and monitoring
SolarWinds tools experience
Linux/Red Hat or Windows OS certifications
Experience with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance
Familiarity with DISA STIGs
Troubleshooting as a systems administrator
Good organizational and coordination skills
Strong communication skills and ability to support and collaborate with a team
Critical‑thinking skills to provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
Familiarity with eMASS and maintaining/executing a POA&M
Remote Work Part‑time remote telework is available. The selected employee will work part of the week remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility; the specific schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
