What you’ll do:
Designs, develops, and optimizes data integration processes, ETL workflows, and data platforms, leading the creation of technical designs and functional specifications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability while contributing to future cloud migration efforts. Collaborates with stakeholders and third-party vendors to define, evaluate, and align business requirements for scalable data integration, reporting, and business intelligence solutions. Leads the design and development of automated solutions to improve business processes, productivity, and operational efficiency. Maintains ETL jobs and leads troubleshooting efforts for critical production issues, participating in the off‑hours support rotation and providing SME assistance as needed. Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of data platforms, technical designs, and functional specifications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability. Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation of data processes, reports, applications, and procedures to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and alignment with organizational standards. Designs, develops, and deploys scalable reporting and dashboard solutions to support business intelligence, data visualization, and operational efficiency, ensuring appropriate security measures. What you’ll need:
Advanced knowledge of working in the Microsoft SQL Server environment to design, implement, and optimize enterprise data solutions. Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and transformation processes, with practical experience implementing ETL solutions using Microsoft SSIS. Working knowledge of version control concepts, with experience using Microsoft DevOps for managing code repositories and collaborative development. Must have expert knowledge to lead and oversee SDLC processes. Advanced expertise in T‑SQL programming, scripting, and optimization techniques, with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries and procedures for enterprise‑level solutions. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities to design and optimize complex data solutions while collaborating effectively across teams. High school diploma or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree in computer sciences preferred. Four (4) or more years of experience in IT, focusing on relational databases, data integration (ETL), data warehousing, business intelligence, reports development, and dashboard design. Four (4) or more years of experience with ETL tools – SSIS. Four (4) or more years of experience with database management systems – MS SQL. Strong working knowledge of integrating applications using APIs is preferred. Experience with Microsoft BI applications (SSRS, SSAS, Power BI) is preferred. Knowledge of cloud‑based database management and integration services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks) to lead and optimize data integration and transformation processes is a plus. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python or Java. What We Offer:
