Job Summary The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to performing activities necessary to support the receipt, replenishment and general handling of goods and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy within the CooperVision Distribution Center. Close supervision required. Responsibilities
Performs inventory searches by utilizing the warehouse management system and RF functionality. Organizes/Maintains picking locations to ensure product availability and proper FIFO requirements. Performs product restocking and put-away tasks. Performs product retrieval for customer order shortages. Responsible for product sorting in preparation for put-away. Performs product location checks to ensure location accuracy. Participates in monthly cycle counts. General Job Requirements: 1. Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers. 2. As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays. 3. Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy. 4. Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues. 5. Exhibits good communication skills
