Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating and implementing data communication systems.
Troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems accurately, and communicate solutions to co-workers or end users.
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment.
Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to support procurement and development efforts.
Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
Monitor network activity to ensure timely identification of problems and efficient operations.
Communicate with data-communication vendors to facilitate resolution of circuit or hardware problems.
Produce clear and timely documentation of network problems.
Maintain current knowledge of teleprocessing-network concepts and hardware alternatives through continuing education and training.
Plan and coordinate movement, placement, installation, and cabling of data communications equipment.
Assist in developing the organization's direction for telecommunication implementation of total network services.
Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to assess network infrastructure and provide recommendations, collaborating with the network team or manager.
Evaluate new construction projects and new locations for network recommendations and implementation.
Drive a company or personal vehicle to visit work sites and assist at emergencies or events as needed.
Experience Requirements:

Hands-on experience with Cisco networking products.
Expertise with VXLAN, EIGRP, and BGP.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues and communicating resolutions to stakeholders.
Experience overseeing installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network equipment.
Background in researching network products, protocols, and standards to guide procurement and development.
Experience planning, scheduling, and executing network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
Experience coordinating cabling and physical placement of data communications equipment.
Ability to conduct site assessments and produce actionable recommendations for network infrastructure.
Education Requirements:

CCIE in Cisco Switching and Routing (written and practical).
