*Position Overview*
We are seeking a *hands-on Senior Project Manager* to lead delivery of enterprise-level *cloud migration initiatives focused on non-clinical IT applications*.
This is a *delivery-focused role*, requiring strong experience managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution through go-live and stabilization. The ideal candidate has successfully led *application migration projects (SaaS, M365, ERP, CRM, or enterprise platforms)* and demonstrates strong project governance, risk management, and executive communication skills.
This position operates within a *non-clinical IT organization*, partnering closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and security groups.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead *end-to-end delivery* of cloud migration initiatives for enterprise applications (Azure, AWS, M365, SaaS platforms)
* Develop and manage *detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines*
* Own and maintain *RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)* and drive proactive mitigation
* Prepare and present *executive status reports* (RAG status, milestones, risks, decisions required)
* Identify and manage *cloud migration risks*, including data security, system dependencies, and cutover challenges
* Drive *cross-functional coordination* across engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams
* Facilitate *stakeholder alignment*, including business users, product owners, and senior leadership
* Manage *issue escalation and resolution*, ensuring delivery stays on track
* Coordinate *UAT, cutover planning, and go-live readiness*
* Oversee *vendor and third-party delivery teams*, including offshore resources
* Ensure adherence to *security, compliance, and governance standards*
*Required Qualifications*
* 7+ years of Project Management experience (5+ years minimum required)
* Proven experience delivering *application-focused cloud migration projects* (not just infrastructure migrations)
* Project plans
* RAID logs
* Executive status reporting
* *cloud migration lifecycle*
* *data security considerations in cloud environments*
* *application dependencies and migration sequencing*
* Manage *multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives*
* Drive *stakeholder alignment across business and IT*
* Handle *project recovery / crisis situations*
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, including interaction with senior leadership
* PMP or equivalent certification preferred
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience with *SaaS implementations* (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow, M365, ERP systems)
* Exposure to *enterprise data platforms or analytics environments*
* Familiarity with *AI-enabled tools or automation initiatives* (nice to have, not required)
* Experience working in *regulated environments* (e.g., healthcare, finance)
* Experience within *non-clinical healthcare IT environments* is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $95.00 - $100.00 per hour
