*Senior Support Engineer*

We’re looking for a Senior Support Engineer who’s as passionate about delivering exceptional support as they are about building rock‑solid network infrastructure. You’ll design, implement, and maintain networks across datacenter, cloud, and managed services environments, all while serving as a knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable partner to our clients and internal teams.
*What You’ll Do*
Design & Build
* Architect and deploy network solutions for datacenter operations, MSP clients, and cloud environments.
* Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and other network gear to meet high performance and security standards.
* Implement segmentation, redundancy, and failover strategies that keep systems resilient.
* Build and support cloud networking components (Azure, AWS, CloudKey.io).
* Contribute to clear, usable documentation for procedures and client environments.
Support & Troubleshooting
* Serve as a senior escalation point for complex network issues , resolving them quickly, calmly, and confidently.
* Monitor network health, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address vulnerabilities.
* Maintain accurate documentation of network topologies and configurations.
Security & Compliance
* Apply and maintain network security best practices, including firewall policies, ACLs, and IDS/IPS.
* Support compliance requirements such as HIPAA and PCI.
Collaboration & Client Interaction
* Work closely with project managers, support engineers, and clients to deliver solutions that truly meet business needs.
* Communicate clearly and professionally, translating technical concepts into information clients can trust and act on.
Continuous Improvement
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for performance, security, and scalability.
* Help refine policies, processes, and automation tools.
*What You Bring*
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or related field preferred, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
* 3–5+ years as a Network Support Engineer, ideally in MSP, datacenter, or cloud‑focused environments.
Technical Strengths
* Strong command of Layer 2/3 networking (VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP).
* Experience with firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
* Expertise with VPNs (site‑to‑site and client‑to‑site).
* Familiarity with load balancers, SD‑WAN, and wireless solutions.
* Cloud networking experience (Azure, AWS, CloudKey.io).
* Knowledge and understanding of VMWare ESXi and vCenter.
* Bonus points for scripting/automation and monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, Site24x7).
* Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, VMWare VCP or VCAP are a big plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 per year
