Cloud Solution Architect

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to be the technical heartbeat of our growth. You will sit within our Cloud Engineering team but serve as the primary technical partner to our Sales team. Your mission is to take the “guesswork” out of our cloud engagements. You will lead discovery sessions, design robust architectures on Google Cloud Platform, and ensure a seamless hand off to our delivery engineers. This is a high-visibility role perfect for a technical expert who loves the “puzzle” of solutioning but possesses the polish to lead a boardroom conversation.

• Technical Pre‑Sales & Discovery: Join sales calls to act as the “Technical Authority.” Lead deep‑dive discovery sessions to uncover client pain points, technical debt, and business goals.
  
• Architecture Design: Create high‑level (HLD) and low‑level (LLD) designs for GCP migrations, modernization (GKE/Serverless), and Data/AI initiatives.
  
• Scoping & SOW Development: Translate customer requirements into accurate Statements of Work (SOW) and technical task lists, ensuring project profitability and technical feasibility.
  
• The “Presentation Layer”: Translate complex GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Vertex AI, VPC Service Controls) into clear, value‑driven presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Engineering Guardrails: Establish the “Blueprints” and landing zones that the engineering team will use for implementation, ensuring alignment with the Google Cloud Well‑Architected Framework.
  
• Partner Advantage Stewardship: Help maintain our Google Partner status by achieving and maintaining the Professional Cloud Architect certification and contributing to “Pre‑sales Influence” tracking.

• GCP Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud or another cloud provider (Azure, AWS). Deep knowledge of Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, and IAM.
  
• Certification: Active Google Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) is mandatory. Additional certifications (Security, Data, or Network Specialty) are a major plus.
  
• Infrastructure as Code: Strong proficiency in Terraform to ensure designs are repeatable and automated.
  
• Modernization: Experience moving legacy “lift‑and‑shift” workloads into cloud‑native architectures. xcfaprz
  
• AI/ML (2026 Focus): Familiarity with Vertex AI and integrating Generative AI into enterprise solutions.
