We're partnering with a leading organisation in the financial services space, delivering innovative technology solutions across global markets. They are seeking a Senior Software Architect to support a high-impact secondment, shaping architecture strategy and driving modernisation across their technology estate.

This Senior Software Architect role offers a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide architecture, working closely with senior stakeholders while guiding engineering teams on best-in-class design, tooling, and emerging technologies (including AI adoption).

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture solutions
  
• Act as the go-to Senior Software Architect for technical design decisions, patterns, and tool selection
  
• Translate complex business requirements into robust, cost-effective technical solutions
  
• Guide development teams on API design, microservices, and integration patterns
  
• Define and maintain architecture standards, documentation, and long-term technology roadmap
  

• 
  
• 10+ years' experience, including proven experience as a Senior Software Architect in enterprise environments
  
• Strong background in Microsoft stack (.NET Core, Azure) across cloud and on-prem architectures
  
• Deep knowledge of microservices, DDD, API governance, and modern architecture patterns
  
• Experience influencing stakeholders and mentoring engineering teams
  
• Exposure to AI tools, cloud transformation, or modernisation initiatives is a strong advantage
