with a client in
Austin, TX(Remote).
You will be responsible for developing scalable microservices and integrating secure, high‑performance RESTful APIs while ensuring seamless deployment on AWS.
Rate Range:
$47/hour to $49/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Build, integrate, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support business requirements.
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot backend applications on AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and implement best practices for performance, logging, and error handling.
Diagnose and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and implement long‑term fixes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Java backend development.
Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot/Spring MVC, and developing RESTful APIs.
Proven experience deploying and managing backend applications on AWS cloud services.
