Your Role

As a Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest pupils, many of whom have special educational and learning needs. Your support will empower them to gain independence and fully engage in the curriculum and school life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • Support the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to meet individual needs.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to drive engagement and learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
  • Previous successful teaching experience.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
