Salary: £48,700 per annum (London weighting included)
Location: London, Stratford (Hybrid Working)

Working Pattern:
Hybrid working model with approximately % of contractual hours based in the office and the remainder worked remotely.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Data Quality and Assurance function within an organisation undergoing a significant data transformation. The role offers the chance to influence how data is governed, managed, and utilised across the business to support decision-making, regulatory compliance, and service improvement.

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that data is accurate, consistent, and trusted across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement data governance practices and drive improvements in data quality, supporting the organisation s journey towards becoming insight-driven.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate data quality issues using SQL, Excel, and other analytical tools to identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Support the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks, including business glossaries and critical data elements
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and deliver data improvement plans
  • Define data quality metrics and produce reports and scorecards to monitor and communicate performance
  • Maintain documentation of data flows and information assets to ensure auditability and regulatory compliance
  • Support the preparation and validation of regulatory reporting submissions
  • Assess the impact of data-related changes, ensuring alignment with data standards and business processes
  • Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, and technical teams to embed data governance best practices
  • Contribute to governance forums and working groups through reporting and stakeholder engagement
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a data quality, data governance, or similar analytical role
  • Experience within the housing sector or a regulated environment is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and drive improvements across teams
  • Knowledge of data quality frameworks (e.g. DAMA) is desirable
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience is preferred
